The Glengall Road Conservation Area is situated to the south of the Old Kent Road, approximately 350 metres south east of the entrance to Burgess Park and is comprised principally of properties in Glengall Road and Glengall Terrace that were built in the 1840s. These Regency properties remain remarkably intact, helping to give the conservation area a distinctive 19th century character that remains despite the demolition and comprehensive redevelopment of the surrounding streets in the 1960s and 70s.
